Our Services

Odour is invisible — but it is measurable, manageable, and legally recognised as a form of pollution. Progress S.r.l. provides the full spectrum of services needed to monitor, assess, and control odorous emissions — from laboratory analysis and field monitoring to atmospheric modelling and legal expert witness services.
Analisi dei gas in laboratorio olfattometrico

Dynamic Olfactometry Monitoring

Measuring odour concentration directly at the source. The official EN 13725 method, carried out by Italy’s first ACCREDIA-accredited olfactometric laboratory.
Stazione di sensori ambientali in campo aperto

Electronic Nose Monitoring

Continuous, automated odour monitoring in ambient air. Detecting and quantifying olfactory impact exactly where the surrounding population can perceive it
Modellazione della dispersione atmosferica di emissioni industriali

Environmental Impact Studies

Atmospheric dispersion modelling to simulate how odours and pollutants spread across the territory. From predictive permit assessments to innovative reverse dispersion modelling.
Monitoraggio delle emissioni in atmosfera al camino industriale

Environmental Monitoring

Comprehensive measurement of atmospheric emissions, diffuse sources, and workplace environments. All sampling coordinated by our own personnel, from a single point of contact

Why we're Different

NEARLY 30 YEARS AHEAD OF THE FIELD

Italy's first — and still the best

Progress S.r.l. founded Italy's first dynamic olfactometry laboratory in 1996 and was the first to achieve ACCREDIA accreditation in 2004. We did not follow the standard — we helped set it.

We write the standards

Our team actively participates in CEN and UNI working groups for the development of European and Italian technical standards on odour measurement — including the revision of EN 13725 itself.

Science-backed, court-proven

Our results are not just numbers on a page. They are produced under ACCREDIA-accredited conditions, grounded in scientific collaboration with Politecnico di Milano, and accepted as technical evidence in civil and criminal proceedings across Italy.
